In the slew of awards to be presented at TorCon 3, Justine Larbalestier's The Battle of the Sexes in Science Fiction has been nominated for Best Related Book in the 2003 Hugos—a first for an Australian since the category replaced Best Non-Fiction Book in 1999—and Greg Egan's Schild's Ladder is up for Best Novel in the Prometheus Awards.
